The short version: we only collect what you send us, we use it to reply and to do the work you hire us for, and we never sell it.
Who we are
fixr is a small business based in the Milwaukee area that sets up online stores and manages advertising for small businesses. In this policy, "fixr," "we" and "us" mean fixr, and "you" means anyone who visits gofixr.co or contacts us.
What we collect
- What you send us. When you use our contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address, business name, what you'd like help with, and anything else you choose to write.
- Basic technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider may record standard details such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visited, for security and to keep the site running. Our site also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when the page loads.
We don't currently use analytics, advertising cookies or tracking pixels on this site. If that changes, we'll update this page first.
How we use it
- To reply to you and set up a call.
- To prepare a proposal or audit you asked for.
- To keep a simple record of our conversations so we can follow up.
We won't add you to a mailing list unless you ask to be on one.
Who we share it with
We never sell or rent your information. We only share it with the services we use to run fixr, such as our email provider and, if we use one, a form service that delivers contact form messages to us. These services only process it on our behalf. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
If you become a client
To do the work, you may give us access to accounts such as Shopify, Google Ads, Meta and Google Business Profile. Those accounts stay in your name. We only use that access to do the work you've hired us for, and you can remove our access at any time. Your agreement with us covers the details.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiries and client records for as long as we need them to work with you and to meet tax and legal requirements. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, and we will unless the law requires us to keep it.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email inquiries@gofixr.co and we'll take care of it.
Children
Our services are for businesses, and this site isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
